Shipping costs for orders placed on this site are based on the total weight of your order and the delivery location. Because the cost is based on the weight of the order and not the number of items purchased. Shipping charges include carrier costs, handling and processing fees and are subject to change without notice.

 

AVAILABLE SHIPPING METHODS
 

Standard (Usually 3-8 Business Days) - Orders placed via this method will be delivered by either USPS First Class, Priority Mail, FedEx Ground or UPS Ground
3 Day (3-4 Business Days) - Orders placed via this method will be delivered via FedEx, UPS or USPS Priority Mail

2 Day (2-3 Business Days) - Orders placed via this method will be delivered via FedEx or UPS
1 Day (1-2 Business Days) - Orders placed via this method will be delivered via FedEx or UPS

 

CARRIERS WE USE


USPS First Class Mail (Usually 3-8 Business Days) - Orders shipped via this method are normally placed in an envelope and delivered by your regular mail carrier. To be eligible for this method orders must weigh less than 15 oz. and be small enough to fit in the envelope.
 

USPS Priority Mail (Usually 2-5 Business Days) - Orders shipped via this method are packaged in an envelope or sturdy box and delivered by a mail carrier. Using this method decreases the shipping time and in much of the surrounding NY area you will get your order within one day of ship date. This is not a guarantee but more of a helpful estimate.
 

FedEx Ground or UPS Ground (Usually 3-7 Business Days) - Orders shipped via this method are packaged in a sturdy box and delivered by FedEx or UPS. Tracking information is available for all orders sent via this method.

FedEx 3 Day Air or UPS 3 Day Air (Usually 3-4 Business Days) - Orders shipped via this method are packaged in a sturdy box and delivered by FedEx or UPS.  Orders arrive by the end of the third business day after being shipped. Signature will be required for this method. They will not leave the package if someone is not there to sign.
 

FedEx 2 Day Air or UPS 2 Day Air (Usually 2-3 Business Days) - Orders shipped via this method are packaged in a sturdy box and delivered by FedEx or UPS.  Orders arrive by the end of the second business day after being shipped. Signature will be required for this method.
 

FedEx Next Day Air or UPS Next Day Air (Usually 1-2 Business Days) - Orders shipped via this method are packaged in a sturdy box and delivered by FedEx or UPS. Orders arrive by the end of the next business day after being shipped. Signature will be required for this method.
 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Canada- Canadian shipments are normally sent via FedEx and arrive within 3-7 business days. Rates are calculated based on the actual weight of the items on your order. Duty is calculated and charged at the time of shipment using the best information available to us at the time.

PROCESSING TIME

It depends when you place your order, our store processes orders Monday through Saturday (excluding US Holidays). Generally, if you place your order before 11am EST M-F and we have the item in stock the order will be shipped that day. If you order on a Sunday, your order will ship on Monday. The second factor that determines when you receive your order is the shipping method you choose, please consult our shipping chart to determine length of time we estimate an order will be in transit.

BACKORDERS

Items that are out of stock at the time your order is placed will be put on backorder and your credit card will not be charged for that item until it ships, in addition if your order requires more than one shipment due to a backorder you will not be charged shipping for the additional shipments. If an item is listed as out of stock and you would to like purchase it, we suggest you do so, backordered items normally ship in 1-4 weeks and are shipped via either First Class Mail, Priority Mail or FedEx Ground. You may cancel a backorder order at any time before it ships.

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be authorized by phone, 1.516.488.7404, or email, within 24 hours for a full refund. For cancelled items, please allow 2­-3 business days for your card to be credited.

 

REFUND POLICY

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Our store and webstore policy is Exchange or Store Credit Only. Tights, Costumes and Sale Items are Final Sale. 

All returns must be authorized by phone: 516.488.7404, or email. Please contact us regarding store credit or exchange within fourteen (14) days of receipt of your order. If we are not contacted within fourteen (14) days, we cannot accept the return.  The product must be in original condition without any tags removed. Products returned damaged, worn, or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to customer. All charges related to shipping are buyer's responsibility and are non-refundable. Shipping cost for a return item is the customers responsibilty but we will gladly re-ship your replacement item at no cost to you. (We will give free ship on return one time per item order. Select items are not eligible for refunded returns. 

Gift cards, cosmetics, underwear, tights, earrings, customized or embellished products and online items marked “FINAL SALE” may not be returned. If returned, no refund will be given.

All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by a receipt.  Applause Dancewear reserves the right to refuse any return at any time. The shipping cost to return the item is the customer responsibility.
